Take Me Home, Country Roads

I sit here and cry, for the mistakes I've made,
As i get drenched in the cold November rain,
As these moments pass by, and the world in sight fades,
I wonder if there'll ever be an end to this pain.
.
I sit here and cry,
For I remember the time when you were mine,
The time you made me fly high,
The love pure, the heart pristine.
.

I sit here and cry, as i walk through those days,
Of sparkling eyes, no frown on the bow,
I sit here and cry when I'm back to this haze,
That Life's ended up in now.
.
I sit here and cry, because everyday,
Your picture fades, the darkness grows deeper,
The hope of happiness drifts further away,
Future bleak, the heart seems weaker.
.
I sit here and cry, because when love was real, love was close,
When I felt the magic, and heaven had come home,
To speak up not was what i chose,
And now I cry on this road, all alone.
.
I sit here and cry for the mistakes I've made,
But my love for you has all but doubled,
I wonder, have enough i paid?
To get me out of these waters, troubled?
.
I sit and cry on this country road, far it winds,
Looking at the grass and the rivers yonder,
The haze as hazy as the state of my mind,
"Will it ever take me home?", I begin to ponder...
